Be aware of triggers.  These can include:

  • exposure to sunlight
  • stress
  • excercise
  • cold weather (wind)
  • heat
  • menopause
  • pregnancy
  • certain medications
  • hot drinks
  • alcohol and caffeine
  • eating certain foods, such as spicy foods

It is important to use gentle calming skincare products that will not irritate the already delicate skin.
